A rich and flavorful Pakistani stew made with tender braised lamb slowly cooked with spices and served with flatbread.

Ingredients
- 700 g Braising lamb
- 3 piece Onion
- 5 clove Garlic
- 2 tbsp Fresh ginger
- 150 g Plain yogurt
- 2 piece Tomato
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 1 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 3 piece Cloves
- 2 piece Bay leaves
- 500 ml Water
- 3 tbsp Ghee oil
Instructions
Step 1
Brown the sliced onions in ghee until golden and crispy.
Step 2
Remove half of the onions for garnish, add garlic and ginger to the remaining onions.
Step 3
Add the lamb and brown for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Add the spices and stir for 1 minute.
Step 5
Add the yogurt, crushed tomatoes, cloves, and bay leaves.
Step 6
Pour in water, cover, and simmer for 75-90 minutes until the meat is very tender.
Step 7
Season with salt and serve garnished with the remaining crispy onions.
