Kimchi Jjigae
A rich and spicy Korean stew with fermented kimchi, pork, and tofu. Perfect for cold days—authentic and comforting.

Ingredients
- 300 g Fermented kimchi
- 250 g Pork cubes
- 200 g Plain tofu
- 1 piece Onion
- 3 clove Garlic
- 600 ml Pork broth or water
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 0.5 tsp Black pepper
- 2 stem Green onion
- 1 piece Dried chili
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the pork into small cubes. Cut the tofu into dice. Mince the onion and garlic.
Step 2
Sauté the garlic and onion in a pot with a little oil.
Step 3
Add the minced kimchi and cook for 3 minutes.
Step 4
Add the pork and sauté for 5 minutes until browned.
Step 5
Pour in the broth, add the tofu, soy sauce, and dried chili. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 6
Season with pepper. Garnish with fresh green onion.
