Tabbouleh
A fresh Lebanese salad made with bulgur, tomatoes, onions, aromatic herbs, and fresh lemon juice. Perfect as an appetizer or side dish.

Ingredients
- 250 g Bulgur
- 4 piece Ripe tomatoes
- 1 piece Cucumber
- 1 piece Red onion
- 200 g Fresh parsley
- 80 g Fresh mint
- 4 tbsp Fresh lemon juice
- 5 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
- à to taste Salt
- à to taste Black pepper
- 350 ml Hot water
Instructions
Step 1
Pour the bulgur into a salad bowl and cover with hot water. Let sit for 15 minutes.
Step 2
Crush the tomatoes, seed them, and cut the cucumber into small dice.
Step 3
Thinly slice the red onion and finely chop the fresh parsley and mint.
Step 4
Fluff the bulgur with a fork once it has absorbed the water.
Step 5
Combine all the vegetables and herbs with the bulgur in the salad bowl.
Step 6
Make the dressing with lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Step 7
Pour the dressing over the salad and mix well. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
