Crispy fried feta cheese Greek-style, served with lemon and honey. A hot and indulgent appetizer.

Ingredients
- 300 g Feta cheese
- 100 g Flour
- 2 piece Eggs
- 100 g Breadcrumbs
- 500 ml Sunflower oil
- 2 piece Lemon
- 3 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- à goût g Salt and pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the feta into thick slices (about 2 cm) and freeze for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2
Beat the eggs in a bowl. Prepare three plates with flour, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs mixed with oregano.
Step 3
Coat each feta slice in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
Step 4
Heat the oil to 180°C and fry the slices for 2 minutes per side until golden.
Step 5
Drain on paper towels. Serve hot with a drizzle of honey and fresh lemon juice.
