Rendang Daging

Ingredients
- 600 g Beef for braising
- 400 ml Coconut milk
- 3 tsp Ginger paste
- 2 tsp Garlic paste
- 3 piece Red chili
- 4 piece Shallot
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 3 piece Bay leaves
- 2 tbsp Coconut oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Cane sugar
Instructions
Step 1
Sauté the shallots, garlic, and ginger in coconut oil for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add the chopped red chilies and spices, stirring for 1 minute.
Step 3
Add the beef cubes and brown for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the coconut milk, add the bay leaves, salt, and sugar.
Step 5
Simmer covered for 35-40 minutes until the beef is tender.
