Cơm Tấm Tôm Cua
Vietnamese broken rice topped with shrimp, crab, and fried eggs, served with nuoc cham sauce. An iconic dish from southern Vietnam.

Ingredients
- 250 g Broken rice
- 200 g Shrimp
- 150 g Crab meat
- 2 piece Eggs
- 3 stalk Green onion
- 3 clove Garlic
- 3 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 piece Lime
- 1 piece Red chili
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 3 tbsp Neutral oil
- 100 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Reheat the rice in a pan with 1 tbsp of oil for 3 minutes.
Step 2
In another pan, cook the shrimp for 3 minutes on each side in 1 tbsp of oil. Set aside. Add the crab meat and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Fry the eggs in 1 tbsp of oil until the edges are golden (2-3 minutes).
Step 4
Prepare the nuoc cham sauce: mix fish sauce, water, sugar, lime juice, minced garlic, and chopped chili.
Step 5
Arrange the rice on a plate, top with shrimp, crab, fried egg, and sliced green onion. Drizzle with sauce.
