Causa Limeña
A terrine of yellow potato purée layered with tuna and avocado, topped with a spicy sauce that's distinctly Peruvian.

Ingredients
- 800 g Yellow potatoes
- 400 g Canned tuna
- 2 piece Avocados
- 3 piece Fresh lemons
- 2 piece Amarillo chili pepper
- 4 piece Eggs
- 60 ml Olive oil
- 5 g Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the potatoes in salted water for 20 minutes until tender.
Step 2
Mash the hot potatoes with the juice of 2 lemons, the oil, and blended chili pepper.
Step 3
Prepare a sauce with the tuna, mashed hard-boiled egg, and lemon juice.
Step 4
Slice the avocados and drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 5
Layer the causa by alternating potato purée, tuna, and avocado in a mold.
Step 6
Carefully unmold onto plates and garnish.
