Buffalo Wings
Crispy turkey wings coated in a spicy hot sauce-butter coating, served with cool ranch dip for dunking.
Ingredients
- 1200 g Turkey wings
- 150 ml Hot sauce
- 50 g Butter
- 50 g Flour
- 25 g Cornstarch
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 0.5 tsp Garlic powder
- 150 ml Sour cream
- 100 g Mayonnaise
- 10 g Fresh parsley
- 0.5 piece Lemon
- 500 ml Frying oil
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the ranch sauce by mixing mayonnaise, sour cream, minced parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Chill until ready to serve.
Step 2
Mix flour, cornstarch, salt, pepper, paprika and garlic powder in a bowl. Coat the wings thoroughly with this mixture.
Step 3
Heat the oil to 175°C. Fry the wings in batches for 12-15 minutes until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Step 4
Heat the hot sauce with butter. Pour into a large bowl.
Step 5
Add the fried wings to the hot sauce and gently toss to coat evenly.
Step 6
Serve immediately with the ranch sauce on the side and fresh celery sticks if desired.
