Bibimbap
The ultimate Korean bowl: rice topped with an array of vegetables, a fried egg, spicy gochujang sauce, and seasoned beef. Mix everything together before eating.
Ingredients
- 400 g Cooked white rice
- 200 g Ground beef
- 200 g Fresh spinach
- 1 piece Carrot
- 150 g Shiitake mushrooms
- 1 piece Zucchini
- 2 piece Eggs
- 3 tbsp Gochujang sauce
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp White sesame seeds
Instructions
Step 1
Thinly slice the carrot, mushrooms, and zucchini.
Step 2
Stir-fry the ground beef with 1 tbsp soy sauce over high heat. Set aside.
Step 3
Blanch the spinach for 2 minutes, drain, and season with soy sauce.
Step 4
Sauté the vegetables separately (carrot, mushrooms, zucchini) with a little oil. Season lightly with salt.
Step 5
Fry the eggs, keeping the yolks runny.
Step 6
Divide the rice among bowls and arrange all the vegetables, beef, and an egg on top. Mix the gochujang with a little water and drizzle over the bowls.
Step 7
Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and serve.
