Portuguese custard tarts with spiced custard cream, cinnamon and crispy sugar on the surface.

Ingredients
- 320 g Puff pastry
- 200 ml Pastry cream
- 100 ml Milk
- 3 piece Egg yolks
- 50 g Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 0.5 tsp Nutmeg
- 1 clove Vanilla
- 3 tsp Sugar for topping
- 20 g Butter
Instructions
Step 1
Unroll the puff pastry and cut into squares.
Step 2
Line muffin molds with the pastry.
Step 3
Heat milk and vanilla, pour over egg yolks with sugar.
Step 4
Pour the cream and spices into the molds.
Step 5
Bake at 200°C for 15 minutes.
Step 6
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon when removing from the oven.
