Mapo Tofu
Silky tofu in a spicy chili sauce with ground pork: a classic Sichuan dish with complex, fiery flavors.

Ingredients
- 400 g Silken tofu
- 250 g Ground pork
- 2 tsp Sichuan peppercorn
- 1 piece Fresh chili
- 4 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
- 3 cl Soy sauce
- 2 cl Sichuan oil
- 15 cl Chicken stock
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 stem Green onions
Instructions
Step 1
Cut tofu into 2cm cubes. Mince garlic and ginger.
Step 2
Brown the ground pork over high heat until cooked through.
Step 3
Add garlic, ginger, Sichuan peppercorns and chopped fresh chili.
Step 4
Pour in soy sauce and stock. Bring to a boil and gently add the tofu.
Step 5
Mix cornstarch with 2 cl water and pour in to thicken. Top with green onions and Sichuan oil.
