Leberkäse
A German pâté-like sausage, sliced and pan-fried, served hot with fresh horseradish and mustard. A beloved Bavarian comfort food.

Ingredients
- 400 g Leberkäse
- 500 g potato
- 2 piece onion
- 30 g fresh horseradish
- 40 g strong mustard
- 100 ml crème fraîche
- 60 ml cooking oil
- 4 g salt
- 2 g pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the potatoes in boiling salted water.
Step 2
Cut the leberkäse into 1.5 cm slices.
Step 3
Sauté the sliced onions in hot oil.
Step 4
Add the leberkäse slices and brown them on both sides.
Step 5
Mash the cooked potatoes and mix with a little crème fraîche.
Step 6
Serve the hot leberkäse with the mash, mustard, and horseradish.
