Deviled Crab
An elegant Sri Lankan appetizer: crab meat mixed with spicy seasonings and fresh herbs, baked until golden with a crispy, crunchy topping.

Ingredients
- 500 g Crab meat
- 2 piece Red onions
- 4 clove Garlic
- 3 piece Red chili peppers
- 1 cm Fresh ginger
- 15 g Fresh cilantro
- 3 tbsp Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Mustard
- 1 piece Eggs
- 100 g Breadcrumbs
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare crab shells or individual ramekins
Step 2
Finely chop the red onions, garlic, red chili peppers, ginger, and cilantro
Step 3
Mix the crab meat with the chopped herbs and spices
Step 4
Add lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and beaten egg
Step 5
Fill the crab shells or ramekins with the crab mixture
Step 6
Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and drizzle with olive oil
Step 7
Bake in a preheated 180°C oven for 12-15 minutes until golden brown
