    Cook the white rice according to package directions. Peel and cut the plantains into batons.

    Sauté the onions and garlic in butter. Add the ground lamb and cook for 6 minutes.

    Add the raisins, almonds, and white vinegar. Mix and transfer to a buttered baking dish.
