Bring salted water to a boil and cook the farfalle 2 minutes less than the package instructions (until al dente).

Mince the onion and garlic, and sauté them in oil in a pan for 3 minutes.

Add the tomato sauce, Herbes de Provence, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Drain the pasta and mix it with the sauce in a baking dish.
