Pulled Pork Sandwich
Slow-cooked shredded pork with spicy BBQ sauce, served on a soft brioche bun with crunchy coleslaw.
Ingredients
- 2000 g Pork brisket
- 300 ml BBQ sauce
- 10 g Smoked paprika
- 8 g Garlic powder
- 8 g Onion powder
- 15 g Brown sugar
- 10 g Salt
- 3 g Pepper
- 400 g Cabbage
- 2 piece Carrots
- 60 ml White vinegar
- 100 g Mayonnaise
- 10 g Sugar
- 6 piece Brioche buns
Instructions
Step 1
Mix smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
Step 2
Generously rub the pork brisket with this mixture.
Step 3
Place in a Dutch oven with a little oil, cover, and cook in the oven at 240°C for at least 4 hours.
Step 4
Prepare the coleslaw: slice the cabbage and carrots thinly.
Step 5
Mix mayonnaise, white vinegar, and sugar to make the dressing.
Step 6
Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, refrigerate.
Step 7
The pork should be very tender and shred easily with a fork.
Step 8
Shred the pork and mix with the BBQ sauce.
Step 9
Toast the buttered brioche buns and fill with the pulled pork.
Step 10
Top with coleslaw and serve.
