Kottu Roti
A Sri Lankan street dish where flatbread is finely chopped and mixed with vegetables, eggs, and spices. Savory, vibrant, and absolutely delicious.

Ingredients
- 4 piece Roti (flatbread)
- 2 piece Eggs
- 1 piece Red bell pepper
- 1 piece Green bell pepper
- 1 piece Onion
- 150 g Cabbage
- 1 piece Carrot
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 piece Fresh chili
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 4 tbsp Peanut oil
- 1 tsp Curry powder
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the roti into small regular squares.
Step 2
Finely chop onion, garlic, chilies, peppers, cabbage, and carrot.
Step 3
Heat the oil over high heat in a wok or large pan.
Step 4
Add the vegetables and cook for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
Step 5
Add the roti pieces and curry powder, mix well.
Step 6
Make a well in the center, crack the eggs and scramble with the rest.
Step 7
Add the soy sauce and serve immediately while hot.
