Cook the semolina for 5 minutes in boiling salted water, then drain. Set aside.

Finely mince the onion. Mix the ground meat, egg, onion, salt and pepper. Form 12 meatballs.

Heat the oil in a pan and brown the meatballs for 8-10 minutes, turning regularly.

Cut the tomatoes into cubes. Pour the tomato sauce and tomatoes into the pan. Simmer for 10 minutes.
