Bring water to a boil in a pot for the pasta. Thinly slice the cabbage. Cut the ham into strips.

Start cooking the pasta according to package directions.

In a pan, heat the olive oil and sauté the cabbage for 5 minutes over medium-high heat, stirring. Add the ham and continue for 2 minutes.
