Cut the duck into portions and the bacon into lardons. Brown the bacon in a cast iron pot over medium heat.

Remove the bacon, increase the heat and sear the duck on all sides (3-4 minutes per side).

Dust with flour, coat the meat well, then pour in the red wine and broth.
