Preheat the oven to 180°C. Peel and cut the potatoes into thin slices.

Cut the broccoli into small florets. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 10 minutes, then add the broccoli and cook for 5 more minutes.

Drain the vegetables and transfer to a baking dish.

Make the sauce: create a roux with the butter and flour, then whisk in the milk gradually. Add salt, pepper, and 100g of grated Gruyère.
