Rinse the rice in cold water. In a pot, bring the water to a boil, add the rice and a pinch of salt. Cover and simmer gently for 15 minutes.

Clean the leeks and slice them into rings. Finely mince the onion. Cut the ham into cubes.

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok. Add the onion and cook for 2 minutes.

Add the curry paste and stir well for 1 minute to cook it slightly.
