Lettuce Wraps with Spicy Black Beans and Grilled Peppers
Romaine lettuce leaves filled with cumin and cilantro-scented black beans, grilled peppers, and a squeeze of lime. A vibrant vegetarian Mexican wrap bursting with flavor.

Ingredients
- 400 g Black beans (canned)
- 1 piece Romaine lettuce
- 1 piece Red bell pepper
- 1 piece Green bell pepper
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 piece Lime
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Drain and rinse the black beans. Cut the peppers into strips.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a pan over high heat. Grill the pepper strips for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Add the black beans and cumin to the pan. Cook for 5 minutes, lightly mashing a few beans with a fork.
Step 4
Fill the lettuce leaves with the bean-pepper mixture, squeeze lime juice over the top, roll, and serve.
