Lettuce Wraps with Lacquered Duck and Crispy Vegetables
Romaine lettuce leaves filled with five-spice duck breast, crispy radishes, and cucumber. A refined, quick, and light Asian-inspired wrap.

Ingredients
- 300 g Duck breast
- 1 piece Romaine lettuce
- 1 piece Cucumber
- 6 piece Radishes
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice
- 2 tbsp Hoisin sauce
Instructions
Step 1
Score the duck skin in a crosshatch pattern. Rub with five-spice and salt. Cook skin-side down in a cold pan over medium heat for 7 minutes, then flip and cook for 5 minutes more.
Step 2
Let the duck rest for 5 minutes, then thinly slice on the bias.
Step 3
Cut the cucumber into matchsticks and thinly slice the radishes into rounds.
Step 4
Place duck slices on romaine leaves, add cucumber and radishes, drizzle with hoisin sauce, and roll up.
