Toasted Bread Broccoli and Gruyère Open-Face Sandwiches
A light appetizer or lunch: white bread topped with broccoli and melted cheese, baked until golden.

Ingredients
- 4 slice White bread
- 200 g Broccoli
- 80 g Grated Gruyère
- 15 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 100 ml Water
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 210°C.
Step 2
Cut the broccoli into small florets and cook for 5 minutes in salted boiling water.
Step 3
Drain the broccoli and arrange on the bread slices.
Step 4
Generously sprinkle grated Gruyère over each slice.
Step 5
Bake for 7 minutes until the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
