Pan-Fried Cheese Toasts
Crispy toasts with melted Gruyère cheese, made right in a skillet. An unpretentious, delicious, and very quick dish.

Ingredients
- 4 slice White bread
- 120 g Grated Gruyère
- 25 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Melt half of the butter in a skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Place the bread slices in the skillet.
Step 3
Toast for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Step 4
Flip the slices, add the remaining butter, and generously sprinkle with Gruyère.
Step 5
Cover with a lid or foil and let the cheese melt for 3-4 minutes over low heat.
Step 6
Serve immediately, seasoned with salt and pepper.
