Vegetarian Tartiflette with Apples
A delicious twist on tartiflette featuring potatoes, melted cheese, and caramelized apples. Comforting and ready in 40 minutes.

Ingredients
- 800 g Potatoes
- 300 g Apples
- 250 g Reblochon or Emmental
- 1 piece Onion
- 150 ml Crème fraîche
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 1 tsp Herbs de Provence
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the potatoes whole in a pot or microwave for 15 minutes, then let cool slightly.
Step 2
Peel the cooked potatoes and cut into slices, do the same with the apples.
Step 3
Pan-fry the apple slices in a pan with 1 tbsp of oil until caramelized.
Step 4
In a gratin dish, layer the potato slices, then the caramelized apples, then sprinkle with grated cheese.
Step 5
Mix the crème fraîche with the herbs, season with salt and pepper, then pour over the gratin.
Step 6
Bake at 200°C for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is golden and melted.
