Classic Beef Tartare with Capers and Cornichons
The quintessential French classic: finely chopped raw beef seasoned with capers, cornichons and shallots, with a touch of mustard. An elegant and protein-rich dish ready in minutes.

Ingredients
- 300 g Beef tenderloin
- 1 piece Shallot
- 2 tbsp Capers
- 4 piece Cornichons
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Finely chop the beef tenderloin with a knife into small regular cubes. Refrigerate.
Step 2
Finely mince the shallot and chop the cornichons and capers.
Step 3
Mix the chopped beef with the shallot, capers, cornichons, mustard and olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Mold using a ring and serve chilled.
