Spaghetti Aglio e Olio Simplissimo
The simplest and most flavorful Italian recipe: pasta with garlic and oil, just what you need for a relaxing evening. Perfect with a bit of grated Gruyère.

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 3 clove Garlic
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 50 g Gruyère
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 2 l Water
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan for the pasta.
Step 2
Mince the garlic finely.
Step 3
Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
Step 4
In a skillet, lightly golden the garlic in olive oil over low heat (do not let it brown).
Step 5
Drain the spaghetti, reserving some pasta water.
Step 6
Toss the pasta with the garlic and oil, add a bit of pasta water if needed. Season and sprinkle with grated Gruyère.
