Simple Italian Spaghetti
True Italian spaghetti: just olive oil, breadcrumbs toasted until golden brown. Authentic and delicious.

Ingredients
- 200 g Spaghetti
- 4 tbsp Olive oil
- 50 g Bread crumbs
- 40 g Gruyère shavings
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring salted water to a boil and cook the spaghetti according to package directions.
Step 2
Meanwhile, crumble the bread and lightly toast it in a pan with 1 tbsp of olive oil, 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Drain the spaghetti, reserving some of the cooking water.
Step 4
In the pasta pan, add the spaghetti with 3 tbsp of olive oil, toss quickly, and add 2-3 tbsp of cooking water.
Step 5
Serve in bowls, topped with the toasted breadcrumbs and Gruyère shavings. Season with salt and pepper.
