Creamy Potato and Carrot Soup

Ingredients
- 600 g Potatoes
- 400 g Carrots
- 1 l Water
- 20 g Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into uniform cubes.
Step 2
In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the vegetables. Let cook for 3 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3
Pour in the water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Cook for 15 minutes until the vegetables are very tender.
Step 4
Blend with an immersion blender until smooth and velvety.
Step 5
Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
