Simple Potato, Carrot and Toasted Bread Soup
A creamy and comforting soup made with potatoes and carrots, served with toasted bread. Ready in 25 minutes.

Ingredients
- 500 g Potato
- 300 g Carrot
- 1 L Water
- 4 slice Bread
- 20 g Butter
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into cubes.
Step 2
Bring water to a boil in a pot and add the vegetables.
Step 3
Cook for 15 minutes until the vegetables are very tender.
Step 4
Meanwhile, toast the bread and butter it lightly.
Step 5
Partially blend the soup for a slightly thick texture. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Serve the soup with the toasted bread croutons.
