Comforting Potato and Carrot Soup
A classic French soup, simple and warming with potatoes, carrots, and a touch of creamy milk. Perfect for winter evenings.

Ingredients
- 500 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrots
- 200 ml Milk
- 800 ml Water
- 20 g Butter
- à volonté pinch Salt
- à volonté pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cube the potatoes and carrots.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the vegetables.
Step 3
Cover with water and simmer for 20 minutes until the vegetables are very tender.
Step 4
Blend the soup with an immersion blender until smooth.
Step 5
Add the milk, season with salt and pepper. Heat through without boiling.
