Comforting Potato and Carrot Soup
A simple, creamy and delicious soup made in a saucepan. Perfect for a cold evening with a slice of toasted bread.

Ingredients
- 400 g Potatoes
- 250 g Carrot
- 750 ml Water
- 20 g Butter
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 2 slice Bread
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into small cubes.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan and sauté the vegetables for 2-3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the water, bring to a boil, and let simmer for 15 minutes until the vegetables are very tender.
Step 4
Blend the soup until smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 5
Serve hot with toasted bread croutons.
