Country-Style Carrot and Potato Soup

Ingredients
- 400 g Potatoes
- 300 g Carrot
- 1000 ml Water
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
- 20 g Butter
Instructions
Step 1
Peel and cut the potatoes and carrots into small dice.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
Step 3
Add the vegetables and sauté for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Let simmer for 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
Step 6
Partially blend for a semi-smooth texture (or leave whole depending on preference). Season with salt and pepper.
