Gratin of Bread and Gruyère Soup

Ingredients
- 4 slice white bread
- 80 g Gruyère
- 500 ml water
- 20 g butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 pinch pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan, add salt and pepper.
Step 2
Place the bread slices in two oven-safe bowls.
Step 3
Pour the hot water over the bread in the bowls.
Step 4
Grate the Gruyère and sprinkle generously over each bowl.
Step 5
Place the bowls in the oven at 200°C for 12 minutes until the cheese is golden.
