Carrot Soup with Crispy Bread
A smooth and comforting carrot soup topped with homemade bread croutons. A delicious dish that combines sweetness and crunch.

Ingredients
- 600 g Carrot
- 100 g Bread
- 750 ml Water
- 30 g Butter
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the bread into small cubes and set aside. Peel and slice the carrots into rounds.
Step 2
Melt 10g of butter in a pot. Add the carrots and cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the water, season with salt and pepper. Bring to a boil then simmer for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Meanwhile, sauté the bread cubes in 20g of hot butter in a pan until golden. Drain on paper towels.
Step 5
Blend the soup with an immersion blender until smooth.
Step 6
Pour into bowls and top with warm croutons.
