Asian Lentil and Fennel Soup
A light and fragrant soup inspired by Asian cuisine, blending red lentils and fennel for natural sweetness. Served hot, it's wonderfully comforting.

Ingredients
- 150 g red lentils
- 1 piece fennel
- 200 g broccoli
- 1 l water
- 0.5 tsp mustard
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Step 1
Slice the fennel and cut the broccoli into small florets.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the fennel for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Pour in the water and add the red lentils and broccoli.
Step 4
Bring to a boil and simmer covered for 20 minutes.
Step 5
Season with mustard, salt, and pepper to taste.
