Asian Lentil and Fennel Soup
A light and comforting soup inspired by Asian cuisines, combining lentils, fennel, and subtle aromatics. Perfect as a starter or light meal.

Ingredients
- 200 g Lentils
- 400 g Fennel
- 1000 ml Water
- 30 ml Oil
- 5 g Salt
- 2 g Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Finely mince the fennel. Rinse the lentils under cold water.
Step 2
Heat the oil in a pot and sauté the fennel for 3 minutes.
Step 3
Add the lentils and water. Bring to a boil then reduce heat.
Step 4
Simmer for 25 minutes until the lentils are tender. Season to taste. Serve hot.
