Green Papaya Som Tam
Spicy Thai salad made with shredded green papaya, tomatoes, peanuts, and a zesty lime-fish sauce dressing.

Ingredients
- 400 g Green papaya
- 150 g Cherry tomatoes
- 60 g Unsalted peanuts
- 2 piece Lime
- 2 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 piece Fresh red chili
- 3 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 20 g Fresh cilantro
Instructions
Step 1
Peel the green papaya and shred it finely.
Step 2
Halve the tomatoes, thinly slice the chili and garlic.
Step 3
In a mortar, pound the garlic and chili with the sugar.
Step 4
Add the shredded papaya and tomatoes, toss gently.
Step 5
Pour in the lime juice, fish sauce, and soy sauce.
Step 6
Gently toss with the crushed peanuts and fresh cilantro.
Step 7
Let rest for 2 minutes before serving well chilled.
