Shakshuka with Bell Peppers and Feta
Poached eggs in a spiced tomato sauce with bell peppers, topped with crumbled feta. A comforting Middle Eastern classic packed with protein.

Ingredients
- 4 piece Eggs
- 1 piece Red bell pepper
- 400 g Crushed tomatoes
- 60 g Feta
- 1 piece Onion
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Slice the onion and dice the bell pepper. Sauté in olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the crushed tomatoes and cumin. Simmer for 8 minutes until thickened.
Step 3
Make 4 wells in the sauce and crack the eggs into them. Cover and cook for 5 minutes until the whites are set.
Step 4
Crumble the feta over the top and serve directly in the pan.
