Shakshuka with White Beans and Smoked Tofu
Eggs poached in a spiced tomato sauce with white beans and smoked tofu cubes. A protein-rich Eastern take on the classic, flavored with cumin and paprika.

Ingredients
- 4 piece eggs
- 100 g smoked tofu
- 150 g canned white beans
- 300 g diced tomatoes
- 1 piece green bell pepper
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the smoked tofu into cubes and the bell pepper into strips.
Step 2
Sauté the bell pepper and smoked tofu in olive oil for 4 minutes.
Step 3
Add the diced tomatoes, drained white beans, and cumin. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 4
Make 4 wells in the sauce, crack the eggs into them, and cover. Cook for 5 minutes until the whites are set.
