Shakshuka with Shrimp and Roasted Peppers
Poached eggs in a spiced tomato sauce with shrimp and roasted peppers. A warm North African dish, fragrant with cumin and cilantro.

Ingredients
- 4 pieces Eggs
- 180 g Peeled shrimp
- 150 g Roasted peppers
- 200 g Crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 bunch Fresh cilantro
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the roasted peppers into strips.
Step 2
Heat the olive oil in a skillet, add the crushed tomatoes, cumin, and peppers. Simmer for 5 minutes.
Step 3
Add the shrimp and cook for 3 minutes in the sauce.
Step 4
Make 4 wells in the sauce, crack an egg into each one. Cover and cook for 8 minutes over low heat. Sprinkle with cilantro and serve.
