Baked Shakshuka with Halloumi
Poached eggs in a spiced tomato sauce with peppers, topped with golden halloumi slices. A Middle Eastern and Mediterranean fusion baked entirely in the oven.

Ingredients
- 4 piece Eggs
- 100 g Halloumi
- 400 g Crushed tomatoes
- 1 piece Red pepper
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Smoked paprika
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Cut the pepper into small dice and the halloumi into slices.
Step 2
Pour the crushed tomatoes into an oven-safe dish, add the pepper dice, cumin, and smoked paprika. Mix well.
Step 3
Bake the sauce for 10 minutes, then make 4 wells and crack the eggs into them. Arrange the halloumi slices around the eggs.
Step 4
Return to the oven for 15 minutes until the egg whites are set and the halloumi is golden.
