Beef Satay
Spiced beef skewers marinated in aromatic spices, grilled to perfection, and served with a rich peanut sauce. A classic dish from Malaysian cuisine.

Ingredients
- 500 g Beef for skewers
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- 1 tsp Ground coriander
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 100 ml Coconut milk
- 4 clove Garlic
- 1 tbsp Fresh ginger
- 200 g Ground peanuts
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Cane sugar
- 2 tbsp Lime juice
- 1 tbsp Peanut oil
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the marinade by mixing the spices, minced garlic, ginger, coconut milk, and oil.
Step 2
Cut the beef into cubes, add to the marinade, and let rest for 10 minutes.
Step 3
Thread the meat onto wooden skewers that have been soaked in water beforehand.
Step 4
Grill the skewers or cook in a pan for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
Step 5
Make the peanut sauce by combining ground peanuts, soy sauce, sugar, and lime juice.
