Red Lentil Samosas
Crispy fried triangles filled with spiced red lentil paste: a crunchy and savory Indian appetizer.

Ingredients
- 150 g Red lentils
- 150 g All-purpose flour
- 8 cl Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 5 cl Peanut oil
- 1 piece Onion
- 200 g Potato
- 2 clove Garlic
- 1 tsp Fresh ginger
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tbsp Fresh coriander
- 0.5 tsp Red chili
- 0.5 tsp Garam masala
- 0.5 piece Lime
Instructions
Step 1
Cook lentils in salted water for 15 minutes. Drain.
Step 2
Make the dough: mix flour, salt, 1 cl of oil, and water. Let rest.
Step 3
Sauté chopped onion, garlic, and ginger. Add diced potato.
Step 4
Add lentils, cumin, coriander, chili, and garam masala. Cook for 5 minutes, finish with lime juice.
Step 5
Divide dough into balls. Flatten, fill, fold into triangles, and seal.
Step 6
Fry at 170°C until golden. Drain on paper towels.
