Warm Salad with Apples, Lentils and Walnuts
A colorful salad with varied textures combining cooked lentils, crispy apples, grated carrots and walnuts. Perfect as a side dish or light meal.

Ingredients
- 200 g Red lentils
- 2 piece Apples
- 2 piece Carrots
- 80 g Walnuts
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tbsp White vinegar
- 300 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
In a saucepan, cook the lentils for 15 minutes in water with salt
Step 2
Meanwhile, grate the carrots and crush the walnuts
Step 3
Dice the apples and immediately drizzle with vinegar to prevent browning
Step 4
Drain the cooked lentils and pour them into a salad bowl
Step 5
Add the grated carrots, apples, walnuts and olive oil
Step 6
Season with salt and pepper, and toss gently
Step 7
Serve warm or at room temperature
