Apple and Carrot Salad with Crispy Ham
A satisfying and balanced salad combining sweet apples, crunchy carrots, crispy ham, and a light vinaigrette. Perfect for a complete meal.

Ingredients
- 2 piece Apples
- 300 g Carrots
- 150 g Ham
- 80 g Gruyère
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp White vinegar
- 3 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 tsp Honey
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
Instructions
Step 1
Cut the ham into small lardons and cook in a pan for 3-4 minutes until crispy. Set aside.
Step 2
Grate the carrots and Gruyère. Peel and thinly slice the apples.
Step 3
Make the vinaigrette: whisk together mustard, vinegar, honey, oil, salt, and pepper.
Step 4
Assemble the salad: carrots, apples, Gruyère, and crispy ham. Pour the vinaigrette over and serve.
