Sweet Rice with Apples and Honey (Asian-Inspired Twist)
A golden rice pudding with Asian flavors: sticky rice mixed with caramelized apples, coconut milk, and honey for a comforting dessert.

Ingredients
- 150 g Short-grain or arborio rice
- 2 piece Apple
- 300 ml Milk
- 100 ml Coconut milk
- 250 ml Water
- 30 ml Honey
- 15 g Butter
- 20 g Sugar
- 1 pinch Cinnamon
Instructions
Step 1
Lightly toast the dry rice in a saucepan with butter for 2 minutes, stirring.
Step 2
Add the water and bring to a boil. Cook covered for 12 minutes until the liquid is almost completely absorbed.
Step 3
Add the milk and coconut milk. Cook for an additional 8 minutes, stirring regularly.
Step 4
Meanwhile, peel and dice the apples. Caramelize them in a pan with butter and sugar for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Mix the rice with the caramelized apples and honey. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve hot.
