Sweet Rice with Fruit
A simple Asian-inspired dessert: rice cooked in sweet milk with caramelized apples and pears. Served warm or at room temperature, it's indulgent and comforting.

Ingredients
- 150 g White rice
- 300 ml Milk
- 40 g Sugar
- 1 piece Apple
- 1 piece Pear
- 15 g Butter
- 250 ml Water
- 1 pinch Salt
Instructions
Step 1
Cook the rice in salted water for 12-15 minutes until completely absorbed.
Step 2
Peel and dice the apples and pears into small cubes.
Step 3
In a saucepan, caramelize the fruit with 10g butter and 15g sugar.
Step 4
Add the cooked rice to the warm milk with the remaining sugar and butter, stir gently.
Step 5
Cook over very low heat for 2-3 minutes. Serve with the caramelized fruit as topping.
